”Nicolae Testemitanu” University Laureates Gala

The days of Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova culminated with the Laureates' Gala. During the event, the winners of the following competitions were awarded with prizes: Impact of Research Activity, The Most Active Innovator and Teacher of the Year 2022 – the designation of teaching staff with the highest academic achievements. The ceremony took place on Friday, October 21 this year.
The celebration was inaugurated by the rector of the University, Professor Emil Ceban, who mentioned that "this year, the anniversary of our university has a special significance – 95 years since the birth of the brilliant scientist and statesman Nicolae Testemitanu. We had an extensive program of activities, demonstrating, once again, team spirit and effective collaboration. It has become a beautiful tradition in the context of the University Days to organize the Laureates' Gala, by which we stimulate the scientific-didactic creativity of the academic staff, motivate continuous professional development, increase the quality of the educational process, research and clinical activity, and promote advanced and innovative experiences according to the best European practices in the field".
Academician Stanislav Groppa, vice-rector for research activity, presented to the members of the Senate and the Scientific Council a report on the achievements of the last two years and the future objectives of the National Institute for Health and Medical Research. At the same time, the Vice-rector reviewed the progress of the Annual Scientific Conference, appreciating that the event unfolded in an organized manner, with students and resident doctors, PhD students and teaching staff performing at a high level, which indicates a potential for continuity.
During the celebration, the winners of the Impact of Research Activity contest were awarded with prizes – ten researchers who published articles in impact factor international journals.

During the same ceremony, the winners of the Teacher of the Year 2022 contest were also awarded with prizes. Thus, in the Associate Professor category, the following participants have been mentioned: Ion Codreanu, Habilitated Doctor of Medical Sciences, Department of Radiology and Imaging, and Vasile Musteata, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Hematology Discipline, Department of Internal Medicine;
In the category of assistant professor: Elena Donici, Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, and Stela Racovita, Department of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics.
The celebration continued with the awarding of diplomas to the winners of The Most Active Innovator contest, who participated in the Virtual Exhibition "Achievements in the field of research and innovation in 2021-2022":
